Ozzy Honoured At NME Awards

Special mention went to Ozzy Osbourne at last night's NME Music Awards for his "Godlike Genius".
Ozzy was as puzzled as everyone else as to exactly what that meant, saying he had no idea why the award had been bestowed on him. In a video broadcast from his home in Los Angeles where he is recovering from his quad bike accident, he thanked NME and added, "I'm far from being a genius. I'm just glad I'm still breathing".
Meanwhile there were no surprises as Radiohead won the coveted Best Album award, as well as Best Video for 'There There', nor when The Darkness failed to win any awards at all. Frontman Justin Hawkins has made no secret of the fact that he wants nothing to do with the music magazine ever since it slated the group's first single.
