Noah Cyrus Talks Us Through Her 'Make Me (Cry)' Video With Labrinth
Watch as Noah gives us an EXCLUSIVE commentary on her music vid with Lab...
I never needed you like I do right now
I never hated you like I do right now
'Cause all you ever do is make me
Gave you up 'bout 21 times
Felt those lips tell me 21 lies
You'll be the death of me
Sage advice
Loving you could make Jesus cry
When I hear you saying darling
Your kiss is like an antidote
I'm fighting like I'm Ali
But you got me on the ropes
I never needed you like I do right now
I never needed you like I do right now
I never hated you like I do right now
'Cause all you ever do is make me
Couldn't hear the thunder
But I heard your heart race
Couldn't see the rain
We're too busy making hurricanes (yeah)
Love ain't easy when it ain't my way
But it gets hard
When you ain't here makin' me crazy
Baby, say the word darling
You know just how to hold a sucker down
So I'll see you in the morning
I can't watch you walk out
I never needed you like I do right now
I never needed you like I do right now
I never hated you like I do right now
'Cause all you ever do is make me
Cry
Cry
Cry
Hear the thunder
See the rain
Keep on making me cry
Hey, ey, yeah
Keep making me scream and holler
Keep on making me cry
You don't know what you do to me
Hey, ey, yeah
I never needed you like I do right now
I never needed you like I do right now
I never hated you like I do right now
'Cause all you ever do is make me
Since debuting 'Make Me (Cry)' at the end of last year, Noah Cyrus, the latest prodigy from the musical family dynasty, has racked up over 250 million streams and firmly declared herself a force to be reckoned with.
We caught up with Noah recently and she kindly walked us through the music video which features her and Labrinth getting all het up and frustrated around a sleeping partner.
Check out her 'Laid Bare' commentary of the video above, where Noah explains the idea behind the video and what happened to Labrinth when he forgot the most important thing he owns...
In other Noah news, she recently dropped her follow-up up track 'Stay Together', the next taste from her forthcoming album NC-17 which, she told Nylon: "I’m still working on it—still working with some amazing people. I’ve made such great friendships out of it with all of the writers and producers because I’ve been working on it with them for so long.
"I don’t know when the album will be coming... I’m just trying to get the final few songs that will complete the story."
We can't wait to hear more!
