Noel Gallagher Buys NME To Read Liam "Slagging Him Off"
High Flying Birds star picks up the mag when his brother is on the front...
Noel - who has [uuid=8cc24496-b6b8-4648-8897-3ee91cb3756f]Oasis - told NME on the publication's 60th anniversary: "I buy NME when Liam's on the front - 'cos I know he'll be slagging me off.
"There was one point whenBeady Eye was out, but I wasn't doing anything, and Liam was on the cover of NME every few weeks, basically saying, 'Noel's a c**t'."
He added: "I'd go into the newspaper shop and my two Asian mates, they'd be reading it under the counter... 'You come for this?' I'd see them wincing, 'It's not a good one…' 'I know.' 'I don't think he likes you very much.' 'Yeah, I don't think he likes anyone very much.'"
Earlier this month, the High Flying Birds star stated that he will never reform Oasis, telling Nation Radio: "Not even if all the starving children in the world depended on it.
"I know it's the done thing these days and what people do, but it's not what I do. I know bands reform and 'They're bigger than they ever were' and 'They're more successful than they ever were', but Oasis were one of the biggest bands in the world."
He continued: "At any given time, we were one of the five biggest bands in the world.
"We were the biggest thing to come out of England in 35 years. Why would we do it? For the fans? Nobody ever gave a s**t about the fans in that band. It's done."
