Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have had daughter North West baptised at a Armenian church in Jerusalem.

The famous family arrived at the centuries-old Saint James Cathedral for the ceremony on Monday (April 13), where they fought their way through waiting crowds in Jerusalem’s Old City.

“All I know is that she's a famous personality. I don't know her in person. In any case she is welcome with her family.”

According to E! Online, Kimmy’s younger sister Khloe Kardashian was named as Nori’s godmother, while the priest acted as her godfather, which usually happens when there isn’t one present.

An insider described the ceremony as “so special”, with the family later dining with Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat at Mona Restaurant to celebrate.

Kimye, North and Khloe have been enjoying a trip to Armenian to learn more about the Kardashian family heritage, with their vacation concluding with an epic performance from Yeezy at Swan Lake on Sunday (April 12).
