Dozens Of Notorious B.I.G. Products To Be Released
Dozens of Notorious B.I.G. products are to hit the stores after his estate signed a deal with a marketing company to turn his name into a brand.
Trustees for the late rapper’s estate, including his mother Faith Evans, agreed a deal with Brand Sense Partners (BSP) to release a range of products using the rap legend’s name and likeness.
The star’s former manager Wayne Barrow, how now advises Biggie’s mother, explained the decision: “The family and I are excited to move forward with the exceptional team at BSP. Their understanding of Christopher’s cultural impact, as well as their vision for our brand mission made them the best partner possible for the task. We look forward to working hand in hand with them to build on Christopher’s unique legacy.”reopened late last year after new evidence came to light. He was shot and killed in LA in March 1997.
BSP boss Ramez Toubassy said the potential for the Notorious B.I.G. brand was enormous. “Christopher Wallace was a pioneer in the hip-hop and rap music movement, paving the way for a countless number of today’s talent and we are excited to leverage the untapped equity in his brand,” he said.
The company has already created merchandise ranges for the estates of Albert Einstein and Steve McQueen.
The Hypnotize star’s murder case was reopened late last year after new evidence came to light. He was shot and killed in LA in March 1997.
