Noel Gallagher has revealed plans to release a new Oasis EP over the summer.
Despite planning to take much of 2006 off in the light of their gruelling Don't Believe The Truth tour, Noel hopes to release an EP with The Boy With The Blues, written by Liam, as the lead track.
"Liam's got this tune that's left over from the sessions called The Boy With The Blues," said Noel. "I'd like to put it out as a one-off single, cos if we spend January recording and mixing it, it could be out for the summer."
Apparently the track is "catchy as f***" and sounds "a bit like Spiritualized."
However Oasis fans shouldn't hold their breath because Noel hasn't talked to Liam yet about going back into the studio. "I haven't spoken to Liam about this," he said. "This'll be the first he hears of it when he reads it now and he'll be like 'What the f*** are you on about?'."
