Olly Murs: 'I Don't Get The Credit I Deserve'
EXCLUSIVE! Star says he's underdog in Brits Best Male category...
Olly Murs has revealed that he feels like an "underdog" when it comes to winning the Best Male trophy at Calvin Harris has had a great year, Plan B's in there and Richard Hawley, so you know all the guys in the category - Ben Howard as well - are all top talent and all do great in what they do."
He continued: "It's completely up to the Brits and the people voting. If they feel I deserve to win it then great, but I feel like I'm a bit of an underdog in these situations. I never quite know what to think.
"I always feel like I'm the underdog to win it because of where I am, who I am and where I've been in the past. I think if you look at what I've achieved in the last year, the sales I've had from my album and singles, then I've got a great chance."
The Ed Sheeran and win the award after him, that would be pretty amazing. I'd be delighted."
As for whether we can expect a tear-jerking winner's speech if he is triumphant, Olly added: "I haven't really thought about it, but I suppose if did get told, or had an inkling that potentially I could win, I would probably sit there and write a few things, jot them down from my memory so I don't forget everyone... but we'll see."
