Olly Murs Throws Back To When He First Met One Direction & When His Bulge Became Famous

Yep, it's time for another one of our 'Firsts'...!

Yay! Olly Murs is back in our lives and we're already obsessed withbrand new single 'You Don't Know Love', so when we had the chance to talk to the ex-'X Factor' legend we POUNCED.

Having seen a thing or two in the music biz since he jived in front of Simon Cowellin 2009, we gave Olly the chance to look back on his years in the limelight to the memorable moments in his life, from his first kiss to meeting One Direction for the first time. But really it was just anexcuse to talk about his bulge...

"It was about 2010," he recalled about meeting the 1D guys."I came down to do my documentary for my first year of 'X Factor '-what I was doing and stuff - andI was coming down to do an interview with Simon and I remember walking in to the canteen and I remember obviously watching the show and seeing the guys and I remember getting a picture with all of them.

"I actually Instagrammed it quite recently, me with Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis - it was amazing. I think Zayn was the one I never got a picture with!"

Prophetic??

On his package becoming the nation's obsession, the 'Kiss Me' singer remembered it fondly (that's a lie):

"[It was the] second week of 'X Factor'.We did a song called 'Fall In Love' and I remember wearing this grey suit.I remember putting it on and no one said anything to me, no one mentioned anything. They just said 'oh my god, that suit looks so good, the performance is gonna be great!'

"I had all these girls on stage and we were doing this kind of retro performance and I remember we did the performance, everything was great and, obviously back then we didn't have Twitter, we didn't have any social platform, so as soon as we finished the show, I didn't think anything of it and then the next day everyone was going 'oh my god have you seen the papers?'

"Every paper was mentioning this bulge in my pants! I was like 'oh god' and literally 'every' page had me standing there and they were putting arrows towards it and all sorts. I was quite embarrassed but luckily it looked good…for one night only!"

Ah memories...
