Olly Murs Working With Ex-Kaiser Chiefs Star On New LP
Drummer Nick Hodgson has confirmed he's been in the studio with the Troublemaker star...
Hodgson - who quit the band in 2012 - revealed the news during an interview with The Daily Star, where he confirmed that he's collaborating with Murs on his fourth studio album.
The drummer explained to the tabloid that he met the Dear Darlin' singer after being introduced by mutual pal, The Ordinary Boys frontman Preston, who has been writing with Olly since 2009.
Hodgson stated: "I've known Preston since the Kaisers supported The Ordinary Boys when we started out.
"He phoned to see if I fancied writing with them, and it was an interesting idea."
He added: "We got a great song out of it. I hadn't met him before, but I liked Olly a lot."
Murs is currently working on the folow-up to his hit 2012 album Right Place Right Time, with the X Factor star confirming it's going to be "a bit more mature and cooler".
We can't wait!
