This led to hundreds of angry [uuid=d277ada2-3403-4a8f-ab61-bf98912aa848]1D fans launching a tirade of abuse against Lucy[/uuid] on the mirco-blogging site, with one Directioner even tweeting: "Haha you stupid f***ing wh**e. god you must have some issues to f*** a 17 year old boy hahahahaha."
She then went on to [uuid=d277ada2-3403-4a8f-ab61-bf98912aa848]address the rumours on the website[/uuid], writing: "To clarify, I haven't said ANYTHING to any press, nor do I wish to. Thank you to those of you who have said kind words today. Xxx."
However, this only angered fans further, with The Metro reporting that Lucy has now deleted her Twitter account after growing tired of the abuse from Harry's adoring devotees.
Horobin isn't the first (and probably won't be the last) to be targeted by 1D's army of fans after Flack revealed she had been [uuid=f734ca95-241d-4ba7-83bb-d5ce4fd0aba8]sent death threats[/uuid] when her romance with Harry hit the headlines.
US model Emma Ostilly also went on to delete her Twitter account after being linked to Harry.
While Lucy has removed her Twitter page, Styles has remained tight-lipped on the accusations, only taking to the social-networking site to talk to his fans.
In other 1D news, Harry has been caught in a steamy clinch with…bandmate Niall Horan.
During a performance of What Makes You Beautiful in Houston, Texas, Harry appeared to lean in for a kiss with Niall - with some reports saying he was just whispering something into his friends ear.
