1D, JLS And The Wanted Join Radio 'Boyband Week'
Britain's biggest boybands will be taking over The Hits Radio...
The lads will be taking over some of the station's peak time slots during a special week of programmes running from New Year's Eve until Friday 4 January.
It's fallen to the JLS boys to be up bright and early for The Hits' breakfast show between 8am and 10am - but according to Digital Spy, JB Gill insisted: "We've got our alarm clocks set already to get the New Year underway on The Hits Radio - we can't wait!"
The Wanted have landed the mid-morning slot, and will be on air between 11am and 1pm, when Max George is hoping to "speak directly to our fans, who have made sure that 2012 has been amazing".
And finally, a member of 1D will be on the air each day between 2pm and 4pm.
Heartthrob Harry Styles said: "We started 2012 taking over The Hit Radio, and it's great to be doing the same again to start 2013."
