One Directionstar Louis Tomlinson was left a little bruised and battered yesterday (September 8) after suffering an injury during a charity football match.

The Best Song Ever singer was playing as part of Celtic XI at the game, held in honour of former footballer Stiliyan Petrov - who was forced to retire after a year-long battle with leukaemia.

However, the footy ace has received a number of threats from 1D fans after bringing down Louis, with one tweeting: "@gabby_10 This guy hurt Louis knee. I shall hurt your face. I better hear that you apologised or I will find you, and I will kill you."

Celtic Xi went on to lose the match 5-3 to Kenny Dalglish's Stiliyan XI, with proceeds going to the Stiliyan Petrov cancer charity foundation and the Trussell Trust.
