1D's Niall Horan: "I Want Aliens To Buy Our Music"

The Irish heartthrob wants the boys to be the first to sell their discs in space...

One Direction are hoping to go one better than rapper Will.I.Am, with Niall Horan revealing he wants to release a song in outer space.

The Black Eyed Peas star may have become the first artist to have his track Reach For The Stars premiere on Mars, but Niall claims he is hoping 1D will be the first act ever to sell their music outside of Planet Earth.

Speaking to The Sun, the Irish singer joked: "I think our goal for ten years down the line should be to sell a single in outer space and be the first band to do so.

"I want aliens to buy our music. It is worth a shot and is obtainable."

Bandmate Louis Tomlinson added: "We should speak to that band 30 Seconds To Mars – they could probably help us."

The X Factor group are set to host a VMA First Special on MTV UK this Tuesday, 4th September at 21.30 and you can watch a sneak peak of the show here!
