1D's Zayn On Engagement: "We're Really Happy"

One Direction star Zayn Malik has broken his silence regarding his engagement to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.

 

The Kiss You singer popped the question on Sunday (August 18) - with Perrie proudly wearing her diamond sparkler to the premiere of 1D's debut flick, This Is Us. 

 

 

Malik has since been congratulated by Capital FM - who presented him with a bunch of flowers - with the 19-year old telling the radio station: "It's cool, yeah."

 

He remained coy when probed by their presenter, adding: "We're really happy, yeah. It's cool."

 

Zayn's bandmates also laughed when it was revealed that Perrie's mum Deborah had already confirmed the news.
