B*Witched: One Direction Need Professional Help
The Big Reunion girl group say the 1D boys should get counselling...
Nineties girl bandOne Direction should be offered counselling to help them deal with the pressures of fame.
The Irish foursome - who are currently getting back together for ITV2'sThe Big Reunion - told Heat magazine that they fear the boys could go off the rails, after their own negative experiences.
Edele and Keavy Lynch, Sinead O'Carroll and Lindsay Armaou said they had learned the hard way that fame could be a burden.
Edele, who has admitted suffering from depression and substance abuse problems, said: "Going forward, I think bands need support from day one."
And Keavy elaborated: "A record deal should come with counselling.
"Boys hold a lot more in. You do hope that they get more personal time than we did. Every waking moment, someone wanted a piece of you in one way or another. It just got too much in the end.
"I had a breakdown because of it. It was too much. I want to get youngsters like One Direction and go, 'Please, just get some professional help. I promise you you'll need it. Just start now'."
We told you recently how Lee Brennan of 911 was hoping for a reunion with Lindsay from the group.
