Director Teases One Direction Movie
Morgan Spurlock promises 'shirtless moments' in Twitter interview...
Director One Directionfans with a few more morsels of information about the band's forthcoming documentary.
The filmmaker revealed in a Twitter chat yesterday that there have been "more shirtless moments than you can imagine".
But he added: "Now how many of those make it in to the final film, we'll have to wait and see."
Spurlock has been documenting 1D's Take Me Home tour and trips to Europe and Japan - and the fruit of his labour will be a 3D movie set for release this summer and titled This Is Us.
He said: "The lads have been both in front of and behind the camera.
"There have been some really lovely emotional moments that we've captured. I think fans may shed a tear or two while watching.
"We spend a lot of down time with the band, with their families and friends. We really wanted you to see what their 'normal' lives are like."
But he also promised plenty of fun, writing: "You can’t film 1D without capturing their wild side!
"And that fun attitude is infectious, it takes over the whole film crew. In my first meeting with them a food fight broke out with dinner rolls."
This Is Us is scheduled for release on 30 August.
