If, like us, you're exhausted after spending all day yesterday trying to explain to friends and family that One Direction aren't splitting, they're just going on a break, then you'll be glad to hear the boys themselves have finally spoken on the matter.

Yep, following that report that One Direction were taking an 'extended hiatus' next year after releasing their fifth album, everyone somehow misinterpreted that as the end of 1D.

(Hiatus: a pause or break in continuity in a sequence or activity.)

But luckily Louis, Niall and Liam have all taken to Twitter to calm everyone down, and put the rumours to rest.
