One Direction star Zayn Malik has switched his Instagram page from private to public - sending Directioners into a frenzy.

On July 15, the You & I singer officially changed the privacy settings on his Instagram account (@niazkilam) - with the hashtag “#THANKSZAYNFORMAKINGYOURIGPUBLIC” soon becoming a worldwide trend on Twitter.

Captioning the snap "Blah", the 1D hunk can clearly be seen sporting a band on his left hand - sparking speculation that he may have wed fiancée, Little Mix babe Perrie Edwards, in secret.

Adding fuel to the fire, another pic posted on February 18 seems to imply that Zerrie may have tied the knot in secret - a la Cheryl Cole - with Malik showing off his rings again!
