Liam Payne has been splashing the cash – reportedly buying a £5.1million mansion for himself and a new home for his parents.

The One Direction star’s family - dad Geoff, mum Karen and older sisters Nicola and Ruth – have already moved into the £400,000 property near Liam’s childhood home in the West Midlands, according to The Sun.

A mate reportedly told the paper: "Liam thinks the world of his parents and it pains him to leave his family behind when he is on tour.

[related]“He is also a shrewd operator. At 21 he has shown excellent awareness of the importance of investments. 1D won’t last for ever but Liam has already secured several million in bricks and mortar.”

Liam won’t be spending much time there though – because he’s just splashed out a whopping £5.1million on a five-bedroom property in Surrey.

According to The Sun, the mansion pad comes complete with a heated pool, tennis courts and home cinema.

We’re guessing it has a top security system too!
