Liam Payne Makes Swift Recovery As One Direction Announce The Show Will Go On

This morning has been a tension filled nightmare.

Following the cancellation of last night's Belfast show, One Direction have announced that Liam Payne has made a quick recovery and that the rest of the tour will go ahead as planned...

In a statement made by the band's PR, it was revealed that 1D will reschedule Tuesday's gig for Friday 23 October, meaning fans will get to see them after all. Phew.

"Tonight and tomorrow night's One Direction concerts in Belfast will be going ahead as planned. Liam thanks everyone for their good wishes.

"Once again we apologise for the cancellation of last night’s One Direction show. Last night's concert will be rescheduled for this Friday 23rd October. All tickets from last night's postponed concert will be valid for Friday.

"For anyone not able to attend the rescheduled show on Friday, please contact point of purchase for detail of how to obtain a refund."

Even the local ice hockey teams got on board!

"We would like to extend our thanks to the Belfast Giants & Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Teams and fans for moving their game on Friday."

Harry also chatted to Chris Evans on Radio 2, explaining that Liam was "just very very ill".

"It happened so late because we were trying to get on and then it was just impossible," he said.

Adding: "We very, very much apologise to everyone."
