One Direction Announce New Single 'Best Song Ever'

One Directionhave announced plans to tease their forthcoming 3D concert flick This Is Us, with new single, Best Song Ever.

The track will be the first song to be taken from their eagerly-anticipated third album and will be available to pre-order from midnight tonight (excluding US and Canada).

Best Song Ever has already been described as "memorable modern-pop classic" and was co-written by Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, John Ryan and Julian Bunetta.

In a video confirming the tune, Zayn stated: "We've worked really hard on it and we hope you enjoy it", with his 1D bandmates adding they were "buzzing". 

Fans can hear a snippet of Best Song Ever during the new trailer for This Is Us, which launched on their official Vevo channel today (June 25).

Best Song Ever will officially be released on July 22, with a physical CD release following on August 19.
