One Direction are keeping the big announcements coming, revealing plans this afternoon for an unprecedented global event - 1D Day!

1D Day is a seven-hour live broadcast set to take place on November 23.

The massive event is the first of its kind and will give fans from all over the world the opportunity to interact with the band.

The broadcast will also feature special guest appearances, sketches with the band and fan-generated video content.

Band member Liam Payne said of the announcement: “1D Day is all about giving back to our amazing fans for supporting us for the past three years. When we suggested it we never thought anyone would let us loose LIVE all day – we cannot wait!”
