One Direction Confirm Second Concert Movie

Boy band set to star in film documentary of their Where We Are tour...

After the success of their big screen debut with This Is Us last year, it only seemed a matter of time until One Direction made another movie.

And it's happening sooner than many of us expected - because the fivesome have just confirmed they're making a movie of their current Where We Are Tour for release this October.

The boys broke the news to fans themselves in a short video posted on YouTube yesterday.

Niall Horan begins: "Hi guys, if you haven't had the chance to come and see us on our Where We Are stadium tour this year, or you simply want to relive it again, we've got a very, very special announcement for you."

And Zayn Malik continues: "The where We Are Tour is coming to a cinema near you for one weekend only."

Liam Payne picks up: "You can see the concert plus an exclusive interview with us talking about what happens on tour on the big screen on the 11th and 12th of October. Check out our Facebook and our website for more details."

The movie is also set for a DVD release on 1 December - in plenty of time to find its way into the nation's Christmas stockings.

This Is Us was a box office hit last year, taking more than £40m globally. The same production team is reported to be behind the new film.
