One Direction 'Confirmed' For Bob Geldof's New Band Aid 30 Record

We're not going to lie, this is much more exciting than that time Dido appeared on the track…

One Direction have been confirmed for Bob Geldof's Band Aid 30 record, according to The Sun.

It's been ten years since that time the Sugababes, Daniel Bedingfield and Chris Martin joined forces for the charity single, which will now have you going, 'Where have they gone? Do you remember them?'.

Well this time it looks to be a star-studded affair, as Bob revamps the record to mark it's 30th anniversary.

Talking to The Sun, an insider revealed: "Sir Bob has gone all out to get the biggest names in pop for the fourth release of Do They Know It’s Christmas?"

"Hary, Louis, Zayn, Liam and Niall were among the first stars on the organisers’ list and they jumped at the chance to get involved."

"As with previous Band Aid releases, there’s likely to be a mix of credible and pop acts featuring on the recording," they added.

Along with Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis and Liam, Adele has also been rumoured to join the team, which makes us all the more excited.

Oh and as if that were it, Florence Welch, Ben Howard and Alt-J have all been approached to lend a hand, with various sources also predicting Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith to sign-up.

This could be the most exciting Band Aid record yet if these rumours are true!
