One Direction Deny Drinking Alcohol On Stage

One Direction star Niall Horan has slammed online rumours suggesting the boyband went on stage drunk.

The Irish singer took to Twitter to set the record straight after fans begun speculating about the reports on the internet.

Horan tweeted: "I'm clearing this one up now. This bull about us being drunk on stage! No way is that true !ever ever! Who is making this s**t up?

We give our best on stage every night! And for 1 person to start a rumour! Just messes it all up

However, it seems the rumour begun after a gif appeared of Niall and bandmate Louis Tomlinson pretending that there was vodka in their water bottles, with the Kiss You hitmaker later explaining that they were NOT drinking alcohol on stage.

Horan then added: "Right I'm goin back t sleep! Rant over! Back to being nialler ! LAZY."

Over the weekend, Directioners at their gig in Miami were treated to some twerking from the lads, as Liam Payne showed off his rapping skills with a rendition of Drake's The Motto.
