It’s been six emotional and joy-filled years since One Direction were formed on that gloriously iconic day of X Factor boot camp, and to celebrate, fans have been taking to Twitter to show love, share memories and basically tell the boys they’re super proud of them.

We cannot BELIEVE six years have gone by since that day.Time flies when you’re having fun and worshipping your idols.

Of course, we know their amazing journey better than we know our own life story, from their formation andthe number ones, to the tours,Zayn Malik heading off on his own solo pathand Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson going on a hiatus (SORRY SORRY, we know it's been emotional).
