One Direction Fans Are Losing It Over ‘2020 Reunion Tickets’ But Is Everything As It Seems?

Directioners have pinned all their hopes on this deleted tour announcement from Ticketmaster.

One Direction fans are currently in a state of absolute confusion after some reunion tickets for a 2020 tour seemingly surfaced on Ticketmaster only to be promptly taken down again.

The band have been on a hiatus since 2015, but Directioners are convinced that Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne might have one last hurrah tucked up their sleeves.

According to the Daily Mail, a link for a potential date at Etihad Stadium in Australia hit the site last night, with the rumoured concert being scheduled to take place on December 31, 2020.

Since the link has now vanished, some fans are questioning whether the whole thing was a massive technical mistake or if the boys 'do' actually have tentative plans to launch a comeback tour at some point in the next two years.

One fan argued: “What if this isn’t actually a tour date/start of a tour?? What if it’s the day the band comes back together?? It would make sense because even Liam said he’d put all his money on one direction getting back together after 2020??”

Another said: “If @onedirection comes back in 2020 in Australia catch me there in front row I‘m ready to sell my left leg to see them," as someone else added: “Is One Direction expecting me to fly to Australia December 31 in 2020? Bc that’s a strong maybe."

Considering there’s been no official word from anyone in One Direction’s camp, it looks like this could be a false alarm this time around. But hey, who’s to say it won’t happen in the future?
