One Direction Have Got A Few New Members For Red Nose Day

Comics stand in for boy band as they sit this year out...

One Direction have become almost as much a staple of Comic Relief as the red noses and Lenny Henry, but sadly the boys are not going to be able to make this year's big fundraiser.

However, enterprising BBC bosses have swiftly recruited a tribute act called No Direction to take their place - and you might just recognise some of the faces involved.

Johnny Vegas is standing in for Liam Payne, Vic Reeves is being Harry Styles, Jack Dee is Louis Tomlinson, Patrick Kielty will become Niall Horan for the night and Nick Helm is to sub for Zayn Malik.

The funny fivesome are set to perform Best Song Ever during the telethon on Friday night - which will be broadcast on the BBC from the London Palladium.

It follows 2011's appearance by "Fake That" - a tribute act comprised of John Bishop, Catherine Tate, James Corden, Alan Carr and David Walliams.
