One Direction Hit Back At Jake Bugg On Twitter
Niall & Louis are unhappy after he called 1D 'terrible' in an interview...
One Direction have responded to claims made by singer/songwriter Jake Bugg after he called them "terrible" in a recent interview.
When asked by ShortList how he felt that people were calling Harry Styles and Co 'rock stars', Bugg responded: "Who the f**k is saying that?
"Oh, I'm pretty sure they have a good laugh. But it's easy to, isn't it? When you don't have to write any songs."
He continued: "People [call them the new Beatles] because they broke America, but that don't mean a thing.
"I mean, [One Direction] must know that they're terrible. They must know... Calling them the new rock stars is a ridiculous statement. And people should stop making it."
Making reference to Jake's remarks, 1D member Niall Horan tweeted: "Really buggs me that artists we're fans of ,flip on us in the press !"
Louis Tomlinson then added: "Hi @JakeBugg do you think slagging off boy bands makes you more indie?"
Bugg is yet to issue a response to The X Factor group's tweets. Keep it MTV.co.uk for more on this story…
