Police were allegedly called to One Direction's hotel in Brazil after residents complained about the noise.

According to The Mirror, the lads were 'Up All Night' partying at the Fasano Hotel in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro - leaving some guests to complain to the cops.

[related]Sofia Alves de Silva, 30, and her boyfriend Andre Duarte, 32, from Portugal, were among the first residents to moan about the noise at 4am, with Andre telling the tabloid: "I’m so angry. The noise has kept us awake all night. We can’t sleep.

“This is absolutely ridiculous. We came downstairs in our pyjamas to ask the hotel to stop the party. We called the police.”

The newspaper adds that after the complaint, the lads turned off the music 30 mins later.

Guests were also being kept up by the amount of screaming girls outside, with member Liam Payne even tweeting: "Well there's not gunna b much sleeping tonight lol."

It is thought that Liam is letting his hair down in South America after apparently splitting with girlfriend Sophia Smith, with a source telling the paper that he's "enjoying single life" at the moment.
