The X Factor group left 'overwhelmed' by fans as they arrive at the airport...
One Directionmania has well and truly taken over Japan after the lads touched down in Tokyo yesterday (17th January).
After an eleven hour flight from the UK, the Kiss You band arrived to hoards of screaming fans at Narita International Airport, as they sported red kimonos and greeted the crowd with traditional hand gestures.
According to The Sun, the lads were 'overwhelmed' by the reaction of their Japanese devotees, with Niall later taking to Twitter to write: "Japan! This place is so cool! Can't wait for next few days! Gonna be fun!"
He then stated: "Airport was crazy! Big love to japanese fans."
It seems Niall and the rest of 1D are enjoying their adventure to the Far East, with the Irish singer later adding: "I love this country! such a laugh!"
Horan also revealed to his followers on Twitter that he had tried local cuisine sashimi, as well as calling Tokyo a "beautiful city."
Earlier today (18th January), The X Factor group also attended a press conference held at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo, where they met actress Maki Horikita.
