One Direction met one of their heroes on Wednesday night (August 7) when football legend David Beckham brought his children along to see the boy band perform in Los Angeles!
Irish member Niall Horan tweeted his excitement over meeting his footballing hero, writing:
"met our footballing hero ! Mr David beckham! He brought the boys and his little girl to see us! What a Nice Man ! So courteous !"
The retired football star went backstage with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper to meet the famous fivesome after the lads performed at the Staples Center in L.A.
This is the 1D boys' first time back in Los Angeles since they performed on The X Factor USA at the end of 2012.
Horan added: "Los Angeles! Always good t be here! Unbelieveable show tonight at the staples centre! Thank you! Doin' it all again tomorrow" [sic]
One Direction play four nights in L.A. as part of their Take Me Home world tour before heading to Australia and New Zealand in September.
Their movie This Is Us will premiere in London on August 20 and is set for general release throughout the UK and Ireland on August 29.
