One Direction Predicted To Earn $1Billion From Stadium Tour
The Daily Star reports that the boys are estimated to break U2's record...
One Direction are estimated to earn $1billion (£611million) from their epic Where We Are stadium world tour.
The prediction would also take them past legendary rockers the Rolling Stones, who earned £339m during their Bigger Bang shows.
1D's 88-date tour will also see the lads become the first act ever to play three nights at the 95,000-seater Pasadena Rose Bowl in California.
A spokesperson for the X Factor boyband told the tabloid: "It would be amazing for 1D to climb to the very top of the tour league so early in their career.
“That would be a phenomenal testament to the loyalty and support of their fans.”
Music industry expert Mory Brenner also noted: “You have to go back to 1964, when The Beatles led the British Invasion that turned American’s music industry upside down, to find anything close to the following they have.”
The lads are set to kick off their Where We Are shows in May. We can't wait!
