One Direction Set To Score Second US No.1 Album

Take Me Home is on course to be the third biggest-seller of 2012...

One Directionare on track to score their second No.1 album in the US with sophomore release, Take Me Home.
The X Factor group, who are already set to claim the[uuid=20b1e4b3-6c6c-4d23-891e-58480c28fabf] fastest-selling LP in the UK this year[/uuid], are expected to sell over 500,000 copies across the pond this week, according to Billboard.
The lads' Take Me Home album is predicted to shift up to 575,000 copies in its first week on sale Stateside - which will make it the third big seller of 2012.
Only Taylor Swift's Red - which managed to sell a massive 1.2million copies in its first week - and Mumford & Sons' Babel, which raked in 600,000 sales at first, are in front.
Harry Styles and Co's first album Up All Night is currently the third best-selling LP in America so far this year, after t[uuid=6104f940-3798-4978-a3ee-2961f3749e37]hey became the first UK band ever[/uuid] to hit the top spot with their debut.
The figures mean that 1D could have two best-selling albums in the US by the end of this year.
Earlier this week, the boys confirmed plans to [uuid=8b32ca04-1b69-4a93-9791-5b506cb80e4d]star in their own 3D movie[/uuid], with reports suggesting they could make £50million from the flick.
