One Direction This Is Us Movie Premiere For London

One Direction are to stage the world premiere of their forthcoming 3D movie This Is Us in London.

The boy band will walk the red carpet in the capital's famous Leicester Square on 20 August.

They said on their official Twitter feed: "We're excited to announce that the world premiere of @1DThisIsUs will be in London on August 20th! 1DHQ x "

Directed by Morgan Spurlock, the movie follows the fivesome as they tour the globe - and also gives a glimpse of their personal lives back at home.

A trailer was released recently, with Simon Cowell paying tribute to them.
