One Direction will perform in London for the first time as a four piece at 'Capital FM’s Summertime Ball With Vodafone'2015.

Member Liam Payne previously teased the announcement, with the star appearing on the radio station’s Breakfast Show this morning (April 27) to confirm that 1D will be taking to the stage at the event for the very first time on Saturday, June 6.

Speaking exclusively to Capital’s Dave and Lisa about the gig, Payne stated: “Wembley is obviously one of the best places to play in the world so I’m well excited!”

“Harry, Louis, Niall and Liam are the first massive act in our line-up. I can’t wait for Capital to reveal the other names joining them at this year’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone.”

This Wednesday (April 29) from 7am the line-up gets even bigger as Capital Breakfast releases more news about the show, featuring Grammy award-winning stars whose 130 million dedicated fans have created countless Twitter trends around the world, and streamed their music videos more than 20 billion times.

Tickets to 'Capital FM’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone' go on sale on Friday, May 1 at 8am at www.capitalfm.com.

Capital VIPs and Vodafone customers will have access to the first tickets in the VIP pre-sale, which starts on Wednesday, April 29 at 8am.
