The lads want you to take them home! Find out more here...

One Direction have confirmed the title of their forthcoming sophomore album.

Following the huge success of The X Factor group's debut record Up All Night, band member Louis Tomlinson has revealed on Twitter that their new LP will be called Take Me Home.

The What Makes You Beautiful singer tweeted: "So pleased to tell you that our new album is called 'take me home'.

He added: "Can't wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! #takemehome."

Last week, the lads announced that the first cut from their second album would be Live While We're Young - which has since become the fastest selling pre-order single in history.

The track is set to be released on 30th September, ahead of Take Me Home which is expected to hit shop shelves in November.

1D have worked with a whole host of writers and producers on the album, including Ed Sheeran.

They will be hoping that Take Me Home can better the success of Up All Night, which to date has reached No.1 in 17 countries – making them the first UK band to debut at No.1 on the US Billboard chart with their first LP.

Harry Styles and Co are set to make their debut performance at the 2012 Video Music Awards next Thursday (6th September) and you can catch all the action from the ceremony on Friday, 7th September at 9pm only on MTV!
