One Direction's Louis Tomlinson Makes His Doncaster Debut

Over 5,000 Directioners showed up at the stadium to cheer on the 1D heartthrob...

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson made his professional football debut for Doncaster Rovers last night (February 26) - with more than 5,000 1D fans turning up to support him.

The Midnight Memories singer came on as a substitute in the 65th minute at the match against Rotherham - which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Tomlinson - who signed a non-contract deal with Doncaster last year in support of Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice - is a life long fan of the club, with Directioners coming as far as America and Mexico to catch Louis in action at the Keepmoat Stadium.

As well as his fans, girlfriend Eleanor Calder was also spotted cheering her man on from the stands.

According to Digital Spy, he had a few chances on the ball, but in the 89th minute, found himself on the floor after attempting a pass.

After the game, Louis took to Twitter to write: "Wow what an incredible experience . Can't put into words how I feel :) I will never forget pulling on my own Doncaster Rovers shirt!!
