One Direction's Niall Horan was venting his frustration on Twitter yesterday after he was prevented from returning home to Ireland by the strong winds.
The pop star had been due to jet back to the Emerald Isle with pal Willie Devine, but the storm that brought travel chaos to the UK interfered with their plans.
Niall tweeted furiously: "Well this is s**t! Looks like we ain't goin home for Xmas! F**k you wind"
To which his friend Willie replied: "Pint?"
And Niall responded: "haha 110% goin for glush"
Willie then joked on Twitter: "Wanted: two spaces at a Christmas dinner table this side of the Irish Sea for myself and @NiallOfficial"
And he then updated a friend: "looking into flights later today... Mixed reports of flights taking off. Tomorrow looks a better shot"
Niall's progress has been uncertain since, but he did later tweet: "Looks like we'll just put the heating back on! Go food shoppin !"
And he then issued more tweets about the football.
