One Direction are used to working with some of the giants of the entertainment world, but for their latest video they've teamed up with a very famous movie star of notably short stature.

The lads have been sharing pictures of themselves on the set for the Steal My Girl promo - with none other than pint-sized Hollywood legend Danny DeVito.

Best-known to many for his roles alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Twins and as the Penguin in Batman Returns - the 69-year-old's career began with a bang in classic 1971 movie One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

And now he will be teaming up with the world's biggest boyband for their next promo video - which they appear to be filming together in the US desert.

Niall Horan has expressed his delight at working with Double D - tweeting: "Can't believe that Hollywood royalty Danny DeVito is in the 'Steal My Girl' video!"

And the lads posed with DeVito's foot, which has its own social media alter ego as "Troll Foot", for a jokey group snap.

Another snap showed the foot with Louis Tomlinson and a monkey - prompting speculation that the animal will also feature in the video.

The single is released in the UK tomorrow (Sunday, 12 October).
