SiCo On 1D Movie: "A Lot Of It Is About The Fans"
Cowell also says director Morgan Spurlock will make it 'interesting'...
Simon Cowellhas revealed that One Direction's forthcoming 3D movie will be about their fans.
During an appearance on The Today Show last week, 1D confirmed plans to release the flick in August 2013, with it now emerging that it will be directed by Morgan Spurlock.
SiCo - who mentored the boyband on the 2010 series of The X Factor - has told MTV News that the film will give Directioners an insight into Harry Styles and Co's crazy life.
He explained: "Well, I mean, for anyone who's a fan of the band you're gonna get a chance to really see what it's like preparing for one of these big concert tours, a lot of it is about the fans."
The music mogul went on to praise Spurlock - who previously made flick Super Size Me - adding: "He's cool, I met him. I think it's going to be amazing. He was just such a fan of doing it.
"What he gets is storytelling and he likes detail and he's fun and the band likes him. I think he's going to make an interesting movie."
