Simon Cowell Knows What One Direction Are Getting Up To Next & Sony Deny Any Solo Deals

Tell us Simon, pleeeeeaaaase!

Now that it's public knowledge that One Direction are taking a break next year, the rumours have quite literally been non stop as to what they'll be up to next.

Of course everyone's first thoughts were on who will be signing a solo record deal first, with reports recently claiming that Harry Styles is Sony's priority.

But alas none of that was true, with a rep from the record label having now denied the claims.

"No discussions about solo deals are happening with any members of One Direction currently," said the rep. "Sony are fully committed to all of One Direction and are looking forward to the release of the group's new album."

Us too, us too.

MeanwhileSimon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini were to talking to Capital London Breakfast Show co-host host Dave Berry recently, where Simon revealed all.

"This has been going on for quite a long time actually, they always said 2016 they wanted to take some time off and I said 100% do it," he said.

While Cheryl added: "This is 5 years, literally non stop I’m amazed they’ve done it for so long."

As for what's next? Simon said: "I know Louis wants to be an A&R guy, run a label; he was always going to be good at that. I haven’t gone into too much detail with the others."

"Liam is a really good song writer, he wrote a track on my last album, so I think you’ll see different things from all of them," Chezza added.
