One Direction made us shed more than a few tears last night, all thanks to their ridiculously emotional X Factor Final performances.

Taking to the stage to sing their new single, Infinity, we initially couldn't stop staring at both Harry Styles' floral number and Liam Payne's velvet jacket.

I mean, they all looked GREAT.

Clearly a little bit emosh themselves, the boys even took the time to give each other a little hug. UGH.

But then it was announced they will be singing a surprise second song, though not before the likes of David Beckham, Danny DeVito and Robbie Williams expressed their sadness at said hiatus in a video message.

What with the fetus pics, Zayn's sort-of appearance and the group hug at the end, well, we're done.

Not to mention the way Liam described their planned break in a video the boys posted soon after:
