Louis Tomlinson's Sweater Is The Real Hero Of One Direction's Music Video For History

Also Harry Styles and his see-through lace shirt.

With One Direction finally dropping the epicmusic video for History this week, there's been a whole lotfor fans to think about. But aside from the conflictingrange ofemotions that come with this being the final vid before the 1D boys ride off into the sunset on their hiatus, there was one thing in particular that the fandom just haven't been able tostop talking about.

We don't mean Niall Horan in his glasses, Liam Payne's super shady hat or even Harry Styles in a see-through lace shirt (as great as all three of those things are), and what we're actually referring to is, of course, Louis Tomlinson turning up to the video shoot in the snazziest sweater the world has ever seen.

While it's usually Harry stepping out in floral flares or a shirt so bright you need sunglasses to look it directlyin the eye that gets tongues wagging, this one is all on Louisand with its bold rust, cream and black stripes, the jumper in question provoked quite the reaction.

Firstthere were those who couldn't focus on anything else.

And then those who felt so strongly about it that capslock was the only way to express their shouty, shouty feelings.

Some got straight in there and said what we all were thinking.

While others just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the gravity of such a styling choice.

Then there were those who felt like maybe, just 'maybe', they'd seen this look on another famous style icon...

Or maybe just down the park?

Some were conflicted by the whole thing.

Others thought this was a clear decision to give Louis his moment in the sun.

But really nothing sums up the whole feeling of the moment better than this glorious meme.

Niall is us and we are all him.

If you want Louis' sweater for yourself or would like to dress a man in your life in it so you pretend that he's your own personal member of One Direction, the good news is that it's apparently actually by British designer Paul Smith and is availble for around£193.

Oh and if you think we are forgetting the stylistic importance of Harry is his see-through gold lace shirt then we are not. We bow down to its majesty.

Thoughts on the guys' looks? Then drop us a tweet to @MTVStyleIntl already.
