You'll Never Guess Who's Richer Than One Direction...

The results for this year's Sunday Times Rich List after in and 1D (plus Zayn) are only in second place...

Adele has beaten One Direction be named the UK and Ireland’s richest musician under 30 on the 27th annual' Sunday Times Rich List'.

The ‘Someone Like You’ singer has added £5million to her wealth over the past year, meaning her total earnings are at the £50million mark.

1D’s Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are second on the list with £25m each, with ex-member Zayn Malik also in joint second place with the same amount.

The likes of Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding and Jessie J also feature in the top ten, with Sam Smith the only new entry on the under 30 list at No.14 after pocketing around £12m.

Meanwhile, over in the overall richest musician list, The Beatles star Sir Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Sevell have come out on top, after pocketing a cool £730m - adding £20m to his wealth over the past 12 months.

Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber is in second place, while U2, Sir Elton John and Sir Mick Jagger complete the top five.

Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Noel and Liam Gallagher also feature in the Top 40.
