Is Getting A Lego Oscar Better Than The Real Thing?
Because getting a gold statue is SO last year...
Last night was the first time in history that not winning an Oscar was cooler than getting one, because the alternative looked like this:

Created by Nathan Sawaya, a New York artist whose exhbition 'The Art Of The Brick' is currently wowing people in London, the lego Oscar statues were dished out during Tegan & Sara’s performance of Everything is Awesome from The Lego Movie.
They made their way into the hands of:
An ever ecstatic Oprah Winfrey.

Emma Stone, who clasps it like it's the real thing.

Even host Neil Patrick Harris magaed to snag one.
Less easy to fake make, probably lighter to carry and definitely worth more on eBay, we get why Oprah looked so pleased with herself on being handed one. Best Actress champ Julianne Moore's probably looking at her engraved Oscar and crying (again!) into hangover breakfast after missing out on a lego one.
