Overwatch Has Released A New Limited Edition Mercy Skin And There's A Very Special Reason Behind It
This is Overwatch's best skin yet.
Blizzard has released a very special, limited edition skin for Overwatch's Mercy in order to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
From now until May 21, 2018, 100 percent of the proceeds from the $15/£13 limited edition character skin will go to the charity, with Blizzard promising a guaranteed minimum donation of quarter of a million dollars.
"As a brilliant scientist and the guardian angel of Overwatch, Dr. Angela Ziegler—codename Mercy—has dedicated her life to helping and healing others," says Blizzard in a recent blog. "Now you can help BCRF work toward a cure for breast cancer by purchasing the new PINK MERCY skin, available for a limited time on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One."
Not keen on maining Mercy? Well, that's not the only way you can contribute to this amazing cause!
"We’ve also created a limited-edition Pink Mercy charity shirt, unleashed a unique collection of Pink Mercy sprays and player icons you can get as Twitch Drops, and rallied an epic team of Overwatch content creators to stream for the cause," adds Blizzard.
