Some of the biggest bands on the planet have been confirmed for this years Oxegen festival, and as the official partner of the event, MTV is proud to announce them.
As revealed by MTV Newss Tim Kash at a press conference today, among those taking to the stage at Punchestown in County Kildare, Ireland, on July 8 and 9 are:

Franz Ferdinand
Primal Scream
The Magic Numbers
Sigur Ros
Damian Marley
Richard Ashcroft
Felix Da Housecat

Manu Chao.
And there are many more acts to be announced.
