We Are Scientists have sparked a war of words with none other than Pharrell Williams at Oxegen festival.

In an interview with MTV Newss Tim Kash, the band appealed to Pharrell to return their calls then gave him and his beats a good tongue lashing. Pharrells playing here? Wow, they said. We've got a beef with Pharrell. He never returns our calls! We send him all these fan emails and he never hits us back.

Whats up Pharrell, why dont you return our calls? Pharrell, your beats are wack! But in a good way. Just return our calls!

Both WAS and Pharrell play at Oxegen this weekend. Bring on the beef.

The band also described the excitement of playing at Oxegen as "like having honey on your face and having a labrador licking it off!"
