Oxjam Announce 2011 Gigs

You and a pal could get to see special shows from Fatboy Slim, Brett Anderson, Ghostpoet and more...

The fifth annual run of Oxfam shop gigs take enlace next week, featuring Fatboy Slim, Brett Anderson, Mercury Prize nominee Damon Albarn to raise money for Oxfam.

Fatboy Slim explained why he's taking part, saying:

"I'm delighted to be joining in the fifth birthday celebrations this year, and I hope that budding DJs all around the country will also be using their decks and records to help fight poverty in October."

Suede frontman and solo star Brett Anderson also talked about his support for Oxfam and the Oxjam series of events:

“The Oxfam shop is a great British institution that no high street should be without, and the Oxjam gigs are an extension of this blend of philanthropy and off-beat style.”
